According to Gary England...

As of tomorrow my kids will have missed an entire week of school for weather. This is absolutely unprecedented here. And snow is coming on Saturday!! I have not left this house since I arrived here at 2 p.m. last Friday and I am LOVING it. Even almost a week into it, I don't feel a bit of cabin fever. Should I be worried?

I miss Gary England. We only get Tulsa news and we have Travis Meyer who was the meterologist made famous from the movie "Twister".

He's getting old Jen. Just like the rest of us. *sigh* I believe he had a cameo in Twister as well-looking like I remember him from childhood. I hope he's wrong about the snow that's coming. Just what I need out here-several inches of snow to come along and hide the ice that hasn't melted on my street yet. (You may have missed all the ranting at the end of November about how all the ice melts everywhere but on my street. It was quite a rant.)

That's so cool. You're on a vacation from the whole world!! I wish I had an excuse to be all cozied up in a hibernation den. Enjoy it before everything starts to thaw.

I miss Gary England, too! The weather people in Indiana were a joke. I don't even bother watching local news here. The meteorologists in OKC are top notch, that's for sure!
